Spirit of Scotland
Spirit of Scotland
First created in 1994 to commemorate the 500th Anniversary of the oldest recorded reference to Scotch whisky within the 1494 Exchequer rolls of Scotland, this gloriously complex double-matured Blended Scotch Whisky is a piece of Scottish distilling history.
"Heather pollen and a hint of beeswax, supported after a while by apple pie and, fleetingly, strawberry jam. The texture is teeth-coating and smooth with some light spice in the finish."
Charlie McLean
"A wonderful blended Scotch whisky. The whisky itself is bright gold in colour with a baked apple and Demerara sugar note on the nose. On the palate there is a sweet toffee note with just a touch of smoke and an integrated finish."
