The Garden at Hazelwood

The Garden at Hazelwood

Reminiscent of the garden of Hazelwood House, this release is redolent of the natural haven that has played host to generations of the Gordon family. Wonderfully welcoming, with an abundance of lavender and orchard fruits.

The Finer Details

The garden at Hazelwood House has provided a sanctuary and retreat for generations of the Gordon family including Charles Gordon himself who was evacuated there as a child during the Second World War. This wonderfully bright release carries perfumed notes of lavender alongside a generous orchard fruit character reminiscent of the garden itself. Echoes of summers gone by in a special place preserved and protected throughout the generations.

Nose

The nose is met with a brush of light lavender, before transitioning into a herbaceous quality, resonant of a bountiful earthy autumn harvest.

Palate

On the palate, more herbaceous qualities become apparent, bringing with it a sense of freshly cut grass, a cooling breeze of mint, topped with perfumed parma violets and orchard fruits.
